William E. Harris was born in Cody, Wyoming. He has a master’s degree in science education. In his professional teaching career he taught science in a high school and two universities. He served as an educational consultant for the Utah Power and Light Company, as a technical writer for the UNISYS Corporation, in an Epizoology laboratory, for ENSCO making medical research equipment and as a biblical institute instructor for the Utah State prison.
